The Next Step Counseling

The Next Step Counseling and Training is located in Northampton, Western Massachusetts. Co-directors Mike Lew, M.Ed. and Thom Harrigan, LICSW and their associates offer individual therapy, couples counseling, group therapy and clinical supervision as well as experiential workshops, professional trainings and public lectures. A primary focus of the work at The Next Step is adult male recovery from the effects of sexual child abuse and other trauma.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

We offer experiential workshops in both day-long and weekend residential formats.

• Understanding and Valuing Differences in Same-Gender Relationships
• Holidaymaking - Surviving and Flourishing in the Holiday Season

Professional Trainings are available in a variety of formats designed for psychotherapists, counselors, doctors, nurses and other medical professionals, educators, students, clergy, law enforcement and prison personnel and body workers.
